FHV Antigen Rapid Test

Feline herpesvirus (FHV-1) is a large virus (100~130nm diameter), with enveloped and double-stranded DNA, which proliferates in the nucleus and forms intranuclear inclusions. Feline herpes virus is extremely unstable under acidity, very sensitive to heat, ether, chloroform, formalin and phenol, and survives in a dry environment for no more than 12 hours, so the virus appears quite fragile in the environment, and general disinfectants can be effectively disinfected. Feline Herpesvirus type 1 (FHV-1) belongs to the α-herpes virus in the herpesviridae family, which is the pathogen of feline viral rhinotracheitis and can cause eye diseases and respiratory diseases in cats and other felines. The feline herpesvirus type 1 genome encodes a variety of proteins, of which 7 glycoproteins gB, gC, gD, gG, gH, gI and gE have been identified.
